CIO New Zealand is named best trade/professional magazine at the Qantas Media Awards 2010 in Auckland. Judge Phil O’Reilly says CIO won “because of its high quality editorial covering issues from a New Zealand perspective – to the extent that it could almost be viewed as 'required reading' for Kiwi CIOs. It’s a profession talking to a profession; written by Kiwis for Kiwis.”
CIO received the same award in 2005, when it was known as MIS magazine. MIS merged with its direct competitor CIO in September 2006.
