  • Genesis energy moves outsourcing contract to Dimension Data

    Genesis Energy has signed a five year IT managed services contract with Dimension Data, replacing Gen-i as its outsource provider.
    The contract includes Dimension Data’s support service (Uptime) and service management offering (Insite) for the energy retailer’s nationwide corporate IT environment.

    Lee Madden has been appointed CodeBlue’s CIO, a newly-created position within the company. Madden will also be responsible for providing CIO services to CodeBlue customers, through the company’s new “virtual CIO” initiative.

  • After the acquisition, the rebranding

    Datacraft and Integral Axon have now officially rebranded as Dimension Data, following the acquisition of Integral Axon by Dimension Data’s wholly owned subsidiary Datacraft in October last year.
    According to Robin Hartendorp, the company’s CEO in New Zealand, this announcement marks the shift to a service-led organisation. “Rebranding to Dimension Data reflects our combined ambition to be New Zealand’s leading ICT services business,” he says.

  • NTT to acquire Datacraft owner Dimension Data

    Japanese based telecommunications service provider Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) has made a cash offer of approximately 2.1 billion pounds for UK based IT service provider Dimension Data and its New Zealand subsidiaries Datacraft and distributor Express Data.
    NTT plans to acquire 100 percent of Dimension Data’s shares. The acquisition process is expected be completed by the end of October.
