Jane Brewer, who has been with Suncorp New Zealand for 13 years, has stepped up to executive general manager technology, data and labs at the financial services company.
Her appointment follows the departure of Terry Gaze at the end of 2018.
Brewer is currently executive manager, property claims, and will move to her new role at the end of this month.
“I’m excited to join the technology and Suncorp New Zealand senior leadership teams as we work in partnership to elevate the customer experience and further digitise the New Zealand business in an evolving industry,” says Brewer.
Her previous roles include CIO general insurance NZ at Suncorp, and interim CIO and executive manager solutions delivery at Vero. She had also worked as a business analyst and project manager at HSBC.
