EDS NZ seeks new managing director

Steve Murray resigns due to family reasons.

Alfonso Gomez, who leads EDS' New Zealand Fonterra account, is standing in as its managing director following the sudden resignation of Steve Murray. Murray resigned as managing director for family reasons. He was also EDS' local account executive for government and finance.

Alan Bennett, the regional industry lead for government, will lead New Zealand government accounts and Steve Ingram will lead local financial services accounts until Murray's replacement is found.

Murray joined EDS in 2006 and prior to that was CEO at Tainui Group Holdings.

Gomez will hold the acting managing director role until a permanent replacement for Murray is announced.
