The GovTech Talent programme is searching for 20 participants to work on digital and technology projects for two years
Everyone thinks importing talent is the solution to the ICT skills shortage. But actually there is an unmet group in New Zealand who can fill that gap, says Kim Connolly-Stone of the MBIE.
"GovTech Talent supports recent graduates who are consumers of digital technology to directly work with people and projects to influence their thinking on what is possible," says Ashley Mudford of the Department of Internal Affairs.
Participants to the inaugural ICT and Digital GovtTech Talent Graduate Programme will work across three of seven central government agencies for two years.
