“Whenever you deliver IT projects or enhancements to a business, you are delivering a change. You should never lose focus on who is impacted by this change and how the change affects them,” says Mark Leadbetter of House of Travel.
“The Board has approved significant investments in ICT that in the past would have been unthinkable,” says Murray Mitchell, ICT director at the New Zealand Fire Service.
The FIFA World Cup games kick off on June 11 in South Africa. One of the largest sporting events in the world, it features multiple games occurring across numerous cities, posing myriad logistical and communication challenges in an already volatile, high crime area.

As one of the keynote speakers at the MIS annual IT Summit held in Asia, Cook expects risk management policies to be executed by project teams involving operational staff, IT organisations and multiple business units.
