First Category: The CIO100

The CIO100 will showcase the variety of organisations and transformations that exist in different market sectors. There are three key pillars on the questionnaire, which are: Demonstrating IT’s Business Value, Innovation, and Leadership

Under Demonstrating IT’s Business Value, the nomination will show examples of technology programs completed over the past 12 months that have provided real value to organisations. The nomination will also provide details around how the structural, operational and cultural impacts of the projects were overcome.

Under Innovation, the nomination will describe the technology innovations introduced over the last year and what they have enabled, while also discussing how the innovation's were hatched and how they provided a competitive advantage.

Under Leadership, the nomination will show how the nominee has collaborated and influenced the organisation as well as the leadership team. It will detail how the nominee engages with the overall organisation, along with the role of technology and the impact it has on the business.

Second Category: ICT-enabled community project

In 2018, CIO New Zealand will once again honour and recognize the leading organisation that has developed a technology-enabled initiative that helped address a community or social issue. The awards will be presented at the CIO100 forum, when we will present the results of the 2018 survey.

If you wish to nominate your organisation for this category, please complete the questionnaire here,  and send a high resolution photograph of the nominee along with your entry to Divina_Paredes@idg.co.nz.  This is a separate category and recognizes an organisation that harnesses business technologies to help address social or community issues. It will detail the impact of the programme in addressing the issue and the metrics used to determine its success over the past 12 months.
