Synlait works with Infor to transform business

Kiwi infant formula firm wants to bolster innovation in supply chain and manufacturing operations

Infant formula manufacturer Synlait has chosen Infor software for the food and beverage industry to support its innovation and growth.

Synlait sells over 150,000 metric tonnes of dairy products annually in domestic and international markets including Asia, Africa, Middle East and Australasia.

The Kiwi company, an existing customer of Infor, wants to modernise and streamline operations as part of a five-year business transformation plan.

Infor says this will be facilitated and enabled by its  food and beverage dairy industry specialised CloudSuite software-as-a-service (SaaS) enterprise system.

“The foundation of our business is all about partnering with other businesses and people who share our passion and commitment to excellence, integrity, and quality,” says Chris France, director of strategy and business transformation, Synlait.

“Infor is a strategic partner for our business transformation plan with its ability to help us leverage dairy industry expertise, data insights and real-world knowledge via its innovative Infor CloudSuite F&B solution,” says France, in a statement.
