COO to chief digital officer: Grant Taylor at Gough Group

From CIO to head of operations and now, CDO

Grant Taylor is moving to The Gough Group as its first chief digital officer.

His move is one of the latest examples of New ZealandĀ CIOs who have stepped up to become CDO.

Gough Group, with headquarters in Christchurch, is a major equipment supplier to the construction, infrastructure, mining, forestry, transport and power system industries.

Taylor joins Gough Group from Citta, where he was chief operating officer for nearly three-and-a-half years.

He will continue to be based in Auckland.

Before joining the retail and design chain, Taylor was CIO at the outdoor clothing and equipment supplier Kathmandu, and also CIO at the Southern District Health Board. He was also IT manager at PGG Wrightson.
