VMware appoints new ANZ chief

Alister Dias is taking on the post of vice president and managing director for VMware in Australia and New Zealand starting in April.
He replaces Duncan Bennet who left the company on 31 December.
Sharat Sinha, vice president, GTM and general business for VMware Asia Pacific & Japan is currently interim General Manager for the business in Australia and New Zealand, VMware says in a press statement.
Prior to his appointment, Dias was vice president and managing director for EMC Australia and New Zealand and held numerous management positions within the Australia and NZ market at EMC, CA Technologies and Soft Centre.
