“Our members can now use a live, digital dashboard to drill down into the metrics and see where action needs to be taken,” says ProCare CFO Tony Wai.

Primary health care provider ProCare is now using live data to track and measure patient care effectiveness.

“We upgraded our members’ website to include an interactive web portal that reports actual versus target performance against key quality metrics,” says Tony Wai, ProCare CFO and GM corporate services.

“By linking our CMS to patient records in a secure compliant way that protects the privacy of patients, our members can now use a live, digital dashboard to drill down into the metrics and see where action needs to be taken.

“More and more, our members are using this kind of live data in everyday activities, as well as to guide major decision-making in their health practices, and we are really seeing the results from these actionable insights,” says Wai, in a statement.

ProCare is New Zealand's largest primary health network, with 180 family doctors (GPs), nurses and general practice teams. It provides community-based healthcare to more than 800,000 people across the Auckland region.

It is working with Qrious to deliver data-led patient assessment and reporting capability.

“Primary care is seeing significant change, and the role of technology within general practice is being led by the way our members want to access health services: securely and online – both of which Qrious has enabled us to deliver,” says Wai.

“Our specialist data science and analytics experts worked closely with ProCare to deliver a tailored solution,” says Qrious CEO David Leach.
