SKYCITY Entertainment Group takes to the cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Works with Intergen for a ‘complete technical refresh’ for systems across New Zealand and Australia

SKYCITY Entertainment Group is working with Intergen to deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 to 6000 users across New Zealand and Australia.

The deal includes the implementation of Dynamics 365 for Operations with a focus on finance and supply chain.

The deployment will provide real-time numbers and analytics for SKYCITY to deliver strategic, data-driven insights.

SKYCITY will standardise financial practices across the organisations using best practice guidelines included in Dynamics 365 for Operations, according to a press statement released by Intergen.

SKYCITY is New Zealand’s largest tourism, leisure, and entertainment company and is publicly-listed in both New Zealand and Australia. It has sites in New Zealand (Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown) and Australia (Adelaide and Darwin).

Richard Smyth, Deputy CFO, SKYCITY, says ease of use was a critical factor in the decision because of the number of users across the business.

“SKYCITY is confident in Intergen’s ability to implement a Dynamics 365 for Operations solution that will continue to evolve with our requirements now and into the future,” says Smyth.

“As this is such an important business system, it was critical that we could trust our partner, and Intergen’s expertise, professionalism, and assurance gave us confidence that it was the right choice.”

Intergen CEO Simon Bright says the deployment will bring SKYCITY into the modern world from an application perspective, providing a lot more benefits and tools for employees, and giving the organisation a complete technical refresh.

“This deal reinforces Intergen’s position in providing solutions that address the needs of the highest level of the enterprise,” says Bright.
