Customers get the most out of their data by analysing live updates, giving them the ability to see what’s going on in their business and identify trends as they are evolving.
Xero has released its content pack integration with Microsoft Power BI that allows SMBs and their advisors to make smart, data-driven decisions in minutes.
The pack offers enterprise-level business intelligence to small business with 25 key business metrics in a rich visualisation environment, says Xero, in a statement.
Small businesses and their advisors can drill down into a specific business metric like cash position and automatically generate “Quick Insights” in seconds.
What Power BI does is take the data from Xero and display it in a way that is easy to understand for small business owners, says Craig Little, global products marketing manager at Xero.
Typically to get the information out of something like Xero or an accounting software, you would have to do a lot of work, he states.
“What this dashboard means is it will really be easy and transparent to see the trends and then drill down information so you can see specific information as to why your business is performing the way it is.”
Power BI can connect to other applications at the same time, he explains. “Where you might have information on other systems you can bring that together on the same dashboard."
