New country manager for Dell

Mike Hill, a former executive strategist at Virtuoso Group, takes the reins at PC maker.

Mike Hill, a former executive strategist at Virtuoso Group and ex-HP enterprise sales director, has become country manager at Dell. The PC maker has been seeking a country lead following the promotion of Deborah Harrigan to the role of general manager of its SME organisation for Australia and New Zealand.

As well as Virtuoso Group and HP, Hill has held enterprise roles with Compaq in New Zealand, and locally with IBM, where he began his career.

“I am delighted to be joining Dell. The company’s strategy of wrapping modular services around its Enterprise platforms is very exciting, particularly as customers look for greater accountability and value from their vendors,” says Hill.
