Optimation signs with SilverStripe

Company becomes first local partner

Optimation has joined open source content management system (CMS) provider SilverStripe’s global partner programme to provide web and intranet sites for its customers. SilverStripe CMS is a web-based platform used to build websites and applications.

Optimation managing director Martin Butler says the partnership leverages the combined strengths and capabilities of two innovative and successful local technology companies.

“Optimation’s depth of application development and back end integration expertise, as well as our track record working with open source technologies, harmonises well with SilverStripe’s understanding of the technologies and best practices of the web.

The strengths of SilverStripe’s CMS platform make it our preference for the open source website and web application work we do for customers.”

SilverStripe head of sales and marketing Lee Middleton says the company has grown revenue by 190 percent in two years, showing that demand for open source web technology is very healthy in current economic conditions.

“Optimation provides SilverStripe with another opportunity to grow market share”

The partnership is already working with several new companies, including developing a six-figure intranet project. Optimation has also redeveloped its own website using the SilverStripe CMS.
